dude - it’s a blog

Well, I’m back from two weeks holiday away from the net and a pile of blog comments and emails to catch up on. I’ll leave those for tomorrow. A quickie for now, though. I see that Kurt van Meerbeeck (yeah, OK, Kurt the DUDE guy) has finally started a blog. Truth be told, I don’t think a blog would be very high on his agenda - too many interesting recovery cases to work on - but he obviously decided to make use of his new Drupal setup. I’m torn between describing Kurt as one of the good guys or the author of DUDE. Equally impressive, but I think I’ll plump for the former. Anyway, I don’t know what to expect from his blog but I’m guessing funny recovery war stories, cars, beer, being an ex-smoker, video games …. (well, he has lots to say, unusually for a proper geek.)

Oh, I almost forgot the first thing Kurt mentioned, he also has Yet-Another-Blog-Aggregator, but I think he’ll be going for more DBA/tech focus than every Oracle blog in sight.
