I guess they want to increase the profile of the Oracle ACE program. Even at OpenWorld people were asking me what an Oracle ACE was. To which I reply, "Big fish in a small pond!" :) Cheers Tim... Which is why I've just gone back to XP. There is a group policy which will turn off UAC without you getting the Red Shield thingie. I seem to recall reading somewhere that Microsoft deliberately broke SAMBA compatibility with Vista. I could just be being paranoid, of course. I did like the searchable menu. I liked the chess game even more. But ultimately, it's all just a bit too strange and things just don't feel quite right with it. I'll go back to it in about 9 months or so, I guess...
