It&#039;s hard to answer technical stuff in the blog.

Your situation doesn&#039;t sound like the others. The fact you mention external redundancy makes me think you are doing an installation using ASM, so you can&#039;t be using NFS, which is the subject of this article.

Please give more details in a forum post, not in these comments.

i also got d same error as muthu .i am installing clusterware on my base machine using vmware on CentOS 5 and in external redundancy i m gettin d error in /u01/ors_configuration is not shrable accross all d nodes please help me as i hv tried everything from changing permissions to giving exyra
 priveleges but didntfind ny solution.
