Microsoft follows a plan with Vista to force every person on the earth to switch to it and use exclusively -or they think they can-.
It doesn't support dual boot our of the box at least with the stupid 'Branded' PC's and laptops which bundle a recovery CD -not an installation CD-.
I tried many times to dual boot XP + Vista on a Toshiba, but I couldn't.
Anyway, it's home Tim ;)

You know, I have exactly the same feeling. Because I have to support customers using windoews (and increasingly - Vista) I can't get rid of the Vista. But on daily basis I find my self cursing it to the depest hell, wishing I could use linux intead. Somehow, I cant avoid getting to conclusion that the Vista will mark the end of Microsofts domination on desktop. Competition has imroved rapidly and keeps on improving. In Vista I find no improvement at all. Perhaps the contrary.

I guess one mans meat is another mans poison. You might try it and love it. If you've got a bunch of applications you can't live without, I would seriously think about trialing them on VMware before committing to it.

Cheers
