  2. Hi,
We are doing POC on Siebel Search Engine SetUp with OSES.We have done the settings according to the document given by SuperValu which they have performed it earlier and also”Siebel SearchAdministration Guide Version 8.0, Rev. D September 2008″.We got Struck in Activating The Identity PlugIn Manager for Siebel 8,When we try to do It is displaying an error message “The plug-in parameters were rejected by the plug-in manager”.In the log file it shows that”Exception while trying to access Siebel Authorization Web service:operation ‘SearchSecurityServicegetAllSecurityValues_1’ with no authentication cannot be executed in an anonymous session pool. Please associate an authentication type with the web service operation.(SBL-EAI-04552)”.

Actually there is no such method in the Web Service “SearchSecurityServicegetAllSecurityValues_1” that is being called and the actual method is “getAllSecurityValues”.When we tried to generate WSDL and execute through the SOAP UI tool .It is throwing an error that”The method ‘GetUserVisibility’ is not supported on this search adapter.(SBL-SRH-00114)”.

Since we were not able to resolve we raised a Service Request(SR:3-831888991) in Siebel Support Web on 5th Dec,They asked for clarification regarding the Installation, which was given and It has been more than a week we did not get any response. We contacted Jaynandan who performed the POC earlier in SuperValu took his help but we were not able to resolve.I am attaching the document on settings we have made and also the log file.

Please provide any help on the same or any product manager from oracle contact details

    Thanks & Regards,
    Surya

  3. Hi.

I don’t understand a word of what you just said. I’ve never used Siebel, so it means nothing to me.

I suggest you contact Oracle support with your problem.

    Cheers

    Tim…
