It’s a great movie, well worth watching over and over. And catching those kind of cinematic faux pas is kind of fun.
When watching the original “Manchurian Candidate” a couple of years ago I noticed something similar.
In one seen a character enters a room carrying a newspaper. Clearly visible on the paper is a headline to a story: “Hurricane Strikes Midwest.” We get tornadoes here in the midwest, and blizzards, but we never, ever get hurricanes.
