DB CREATION ERROR

DB CREATION ERROR

Hello Tim;

Today morning i created database manually it was working fine. then i shut my database , after few hours i restart my database
i am getting error. I do NOT find exact reason. please help me out from this error.
usually i am following ORACLE BASE.com for all kind od installations.

Today morning DB WAS WORKING FINE

After shut my database , i have tried to startup my database today evening .. but getting error.

1) my DB script having ARCHIVELOG but i did NOT assignany specific path for archive destination.
i don't think this is not a reason for this error.

one more doubt : $ echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH - > no output , i mean , it was not set why so ?

Hi.

Is that a "bash_profile" or a ".bash_profile". If it is the former, then it will not have run, so your environment will not be set. Confirm this first please. The file should be "/home/oracle/.bash_profile".
