Database tag not displayed after discovering node in Managem

Hi Tim,

I am facing a strange problem. I am discovering to different nodes in management server. The nodes get discoverd properly with only listener & http option below it, without the database option. Why it is not showing the database option even after discovering the nodes. Am I missing any configurations.

Hi.

Try the following:

Restart the agent process then refresh the node.

If that doesn't work check that the instances have been added to the oratab files, restart the agent process and refresh the node.

Nodes not being discovered properly is usually down to server configuration not being correct.
