Hello Everyone,
I've a Windows XP client connecting to a Windows 2000 server running Oracle 9i. When I use the Net8 Easy Config and do the test, I get the following error:
"java.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close"
However this only happens when I connect to a valid server and database. If I make a typing error it carries out the connection attempt and then returns the normal message. This client was working a few weeks ago and does have the same version of the Java 2 runtime as other machines (which I have reinstalled).
This is the contects of the log file that's created:"
