Problem with SSH config during Grid install ?

Problem with Setup SSH in Grid Installation based on http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/11g ... ared_disks .
Whenever we click/setup SSH during Grid Installation , it always failed. Never go past this point of setting SSH during Grid install.
We tried Linux 5.8, then 6.4. It did not work.

However, before installed grid, we set up the passwordless for both nodes or use the script, sshUserSetup.sh, provided in /grid/sshsetup/ , it worked fine, no problem at all.

Any suggestion ??? Have anyone encountered this issue ??

Can't say I've heard of this before. What happens if you run the Oracle setup of user equivalence manually?

This is what the installer does. The reason for suggesting this is, if it fails in the same way as the installer, which I would expect it to, you will hopefully see an error that will give you an idea about what is going wrong.

Using either /usr/bin/ssh-keygen -t rsa or sshUserSetup.sh (Oracle Method) to create the passwordless for oracle user, it worked fine.
With these above methods, oracle can login without password from 1 node to other node.

When installed grid, we tried 2 things:
1/ Use the Grid installer to setup the passwordless: This method ALWAYS FAILED and messed up everything.
2/ Use sshUserSetup.sh (Oracle Method) to set up first, then during Grid installation, we selected the box "reuse the current ssh" and then test the SSH, it also failed. But it failed with the Grid installer only.

I can not understand this at all. I have a feeling something missing.
We use virtualbox.

We checked all the network connection were OK. i.e. can ping

That is very weird. The only thing I can think of is to re-download the software and try again. Maybe your download is corrupt?
