DML for BLOB

Postby hermannov » Mon Jul 29, 2013 2:44 pm

Hi Tim,

Simple question.
Is it possible to handle BLOB field from SQL client tools like SQL*Plus / SQL developer / Toad?

Thanks in advance!

Hi.

It depends what you mean by "handle". You can import ans export BLOBs from/to the database server file system. You can display the contends of BLOBs, but only as RAW text.

Cheers
