Hi,
I noticed there are a lot of talented oracle specialists in this forum and I will like to get where you are which is why I am here to ask you some questions. I just recently finished my MS but I do not have any work experience in Oracle.
I’m a windows type of guy, do I have to be an expert in Linux to become Oracle DBA?
I found these two below books on amazon, which one would you recommend that will help me well in studying for the OCA exam? The first book has OCP book with it, I’m not worry about that for now. My main concern is the OCA.
OCP: Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Professional Certification Kit: (1Z0-051, 1Z0-052, and 1Z0-053) (Paperback)
By Biju Thomas
OCA Oracle Database 11g: Administration I Exam Guide (Exam 1Z0-052) by John Watson
Lastly, what book would you recommend me to buy on Linux that will really help me understand it better and be able to use it well with Oracle?
If you have anymore resources, pls feel free to share.
Thanks
Sunday
