Dear Tim,

I am an O8i DBA certified residing in India. I want to go for OCM. What is the procedure & requisites for it.

Hi.

You will have to upgrade to 9i OCP then do a 2 day practical exam at an Oracle testing center. You must also attend two qualifying Oracel University courses. The OCM costs a serious amount of money. The practical alone is $2000 (US). Added to that the price of the OU courses. I find it hard to believe anyone will pay this much for a piece of paper, but if your companies paying, what the hell.

It is going to be ´held in India in August end for the first time for Rs 20000 only. I beleive it is in Hyderabad. Call 1600 448877
