Comment about your continued learning

Why did you choose to get Linux certified and not (for example) SQL Server certified?

The bosses in my present team would like us to learn 'that other' database, but like yourself, I know more Linux/UNIX stuff, and also find it far more interesting.

Hi.

My adventures with Linux are nothing to do with my job. It's just something I am doing for fun.

I would consider doing MS SQL Server or MySQL certifications in future if it becomes a bigger percentage of my job, but for now I know enough to get by and that's good enough for me.
