Database Vault

Hi all,
I am new to Database Vault. I have seen a blog for steps to configure it. There it is said that I must run the OUI and choose the same Oracle home where I have created the database already and select the Label Security option and database vault option in the Advanced installation type. When I tried this in 11gR2(installing on same home), it gives the error message that the oracle_home is already installed and it conflicts with that one. Now I am uncertain of how to use vault for the existing database under this condition. I would be grateful if someone gives guidance on using it..

Hi.

Let me start by saying it's not a product I have ever used, so my comments come from a totally uneducated perspective.

The only time I've seen these sort of conflicts are when you are using the installer from a different version of the database. Assuming it is the same version of the installer that was used to install the database software originally, I should not give this error.
