Set the environment variable ORACLE_UNQNAME to Database uniq

Hi,

I am getting this error while configuring the OEM and i have set environmental variables correctly

Error starting Database Control.Please execute the following command(s).

1) Set the environment variable ORACLE_UNQNAME to Database unique name
2) /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/bin/emctl start dbconsole

Hi.

The issue here is the UNQNAME must match the setting used when the OEM was configured. If t was not set it's pretty difficult to know what to set it to to get things working again.

In this situation I normally deconfigure and configure EM as described here:

Make sure the settings get put into the profile or some env setup file so you don't forget the settings in future.
