We use a Progress to Oracle dataserver which maps Oracle schemas for use in Progress databases.Suffixing sequences with _SEQ as a naming convention in Oracle causes problems when the sequence is viewed via the Progress dataserver. we have to use _SQ as a convention to avoid this issue. |
