Steve Q said... Installing SOA version of app server soa_linux_x86_bpel_101310.cpio on AMD x86-64, following above instructions I got error that platform was not right then errors in configuration assistant at the end, here are the things I did, one or more of them did the trick - I went back to oracle doco and combined it with the guide above.Definitely Needed 1. ./irca.sh all " 2. ./runInstaller -ignoreSysPrereqs (without ignore switch wouldn't start) Nearly definitely needed 1. Rename /etc/ant.conf (web services inspection assistant failure) Tried these extra steps too and one may be important ! 1.Downloaded compat-gcc-8-3.3.4.2.i386 from http://fr.rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/ and installed 2.downloaded compat-db-4.3.29-2.fc7.i386.rpm from http://fr.rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/ and installed 3. "linux32 bash" before starting installer to enter 32 bit shell 4.unset the env vars containing any oracle settings before running installer, do "env|grep -i ora" then unset ORACLE_SID & ORACLE_HOME and take oracle stuff out of path, LD_LIBRARY_PATH etc. |
Steve Q said... Website has stripped some stuff from the irca command in my comments above (used angle brackets around the variables) anyhow look at the end of install/soa_schemas/irca/irca.sh for params |
Tim... said... Hi.I've already added the ant.conf stuff. I didn't have to do anything else for x86. It seems there have been a number of changes between 10.1.3 and 10.1.3.1. Cheers Tim... |
