Hi, I try to install em12c into oracle linux 6.1, but I found that glibc version is glibc-2.12-1.25.el6.x86_64 and I also check it in oracle public yum repo, it's was glibc-2.12-1.25.el6.x86_64 in http://public-yum.oracle.com/repo/OracleLinux/OL6/1/base/x86_64/, when I try to install em12c, install program will quit install when it was installing. how do u reserved this issues? thanks |

Narendra said... Hello Tim,As always, excellent post with all necessary details. So how did your setup use resources like CPU, RAM? I ask because doc says min. of 6 GB RAM is needed for OMS and 6GB RAM for Management Repository whereas you have managed to install it on a VM with 6GB RAM. |

Excellent, thanks for the docI installed over oracle linux 6.3, db 11.2.0.3 and grid 12.1.0.2 and I just had one error something related with ins_sqlplus.mk checking the install log.. you can see that there is an error while "makefile .../ins_sqlplus.mk".... what i did was : cd $ORACLE_HOME/sqlplus/lib make -f ins_sqlplus.mk install and give ignore and everything was fine :) pura vida!!! |
